Almost all the work we sell is physically in the United States, on show at the venues of the Traveling Gallery programme. That means a U.S. buyer gets a domestic shipment: no customs, no duty, no waiting months.
Where each work ships from
Every product page states where the piece is: United States or Ecuador. That is what sets the cost and the delivery time, so check it before you buy.
Cost
Shipping is calculated by size of the work and shown in the cart before you pay. Nothing appears afterwards.
- Small work, up to 60 cm / 24 in
- Medium work, 60 to 120 cm / 24 to 47 in
- Large work, over 120 cm / 47 in
- Sculpture, for its reinforced crating
- Books and Samay balms, separate rate
You can also choose pickup at the venue at no cost, if you’re near Alluvion / Common Ground or Totem Village. We’ll arrange the day with you.
Timing
- Within the United States: 5 to 12 business days from confirmed payment. Large works and sculptures need custom crating and may take a few extra days to leave.
- From Ecuador or to other countries: time depends on destination and customs. We give you a written estimate before shipping.
A work only ships once payment has cleared. If you pay by transfer, the clock starts when the money lands.
Packing and insurance
Every work travels packed for art transport: corner protectors, bubble wrap, double-wall cardboard and a rigid outer box. Sculptures go in a wooden crate when the weight calls for it.
Works over USD 2,000 travel insured for their sale value at no extra cost to you. Below that, ask and we’ll quote the insurance.
Taxes and customs
Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude local destination taxes. Shipments within the United States clear no customs. On international shipments, import duties and taxes are the buyer’s responsibility and are collected by customs or the carrier at delivery. We cannot declare a value lower than the real one or mark a shipment as a gift.
Tracking
We email you the tracking number as soon as we ship. If more than 5 business days pass after confirmation with no news, write to info@koperniko-art.com.
Wrong address
Check your address carefully before paying. If a parcel comes back because the address was wrong or nobody was there to receive it, the second shipment is chargeable.
