What we sell
Original artwork by contemporary Indigenous artists of Latin America, the books of Jorge Iván Cevallos, and Samay handmade balms.
We sell the work with the authorisation of its authors or their owners. Each piece is unique: there is only one unit of each, and it leaves the catalogue when it sells.
Prices and currency
All prices are in U.S. dollars (USD) and include the commission of the venue exhibiting the work. The price is the same online and on the wall: there is no cheaper internet price.
Prices exclude shipping, calculated separately in the cart, and any destination taxes or duties on international shipments.
We may change prices at any time, but never after you have confirmed an order.
How a purchase is confirmed
Your order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we send you the confirmation email. We may decline an order if the work has already sold, if there is an obvious pricing error, or if we cannot verify payment; in that case you are refunded in full.
Payment
Bank transfer or wire transfer. Card payment and PayPal are being enabled. Work ships once payment has cleared.
Shipping and returns
Governed by the Shipping Policy and the Returns Policy, which form part of these terms.
Authenticity
Each work is delivered with its author, technique, dimensions and provenance as recorded in the exhibition register. Photographs aim to reproduce colour as faithfully as possible; small differences may appear depending on your screen.
Intellectual property
Buying a work gives you ownership of the physical object, not the copyright. Commercial reproduction of the image requires the artist’s permission. The text, photographs and design of this site belong to Koperniko-Art or their authors and may not be reproduced without permission.
Liability
We are responsible for the work until it is delivered to the address you gave us. We are not responsible for damage after delivery, for poor installation, or for exposing the piece to direct sun or humidity.
We do our best to keep the site available and the information accurate, but we do not guarantee it is free of errors or interruptions.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Ecuadorian law, without prejudice to any consumer rights granted by the law of the buyer’s country or state of residence. Any dispute will be addressed in good faith before going to the competent courts of Quito.
